Key box
As a tenant of Soihtu you can pick up your keys from our key box. You can ask your keys to be left in the key box by using the Key box request survey. The survey can be found via Tenant’s Page or on the Welcome e-mail we have sent you. Kindly notice, that you need to make the request at least three (3) working days in advance if you wish to get the key to the key box. You will receive the code on the day you have wished for the pick up. If the date is on the weekend or holiday, you will receive the code latest on the previous working day.
The key box is located at Soihtu Housing service point (Vehkakuja 2b).
How to pick up your keys from the key box:
- File a key box request at least three (3) working days before you wish to pick up the keys. Kindly notice, We can place the keys in the key box only on working days, so if you are moving, for example, on a Saturday, please make the key order for the Friday of the same week.
- You will get a text message and email where you can find your PIN code. You will receive the code when the key is available for pick up. If the date is on the weekend or holiday, you will receive the code latest on the previous working day. Keys must be collected within seven days, after that the PIN code expires and does not work anymore. Please take this into account when considering the date to pick up the keys.
- Use your PIN code for the front door of Soihtu Housing and the key box.
- Check the keys in the envelope. If something is missing, please contact our customer service on the next day at the latest.
- Lock the key box and the front door of Soihtu Housing carefully when leaving.

Reforms to services
Soihtu wants to offer its customers the smoothest possible customer service experience. Starting in September, you can book a personal service appointment at the Housing Service Point through the online booking system.
When you move out, return the keys as instructed – this ensures the next tenant can move in on time
We instruct the tenant to return the keys on time to ensure the new tenant's move goes as smoothly as possible. The compensation price list now includes charges for incorrect and late key returns.
August apartments offered
All apartments available at the beginning of August have now been offered, and most have already had tenancy agreements signed. Individual apartments or shared rooms may still become available at the beginning of August if someone declines their apartment offer.
