Key box
As a tenant of Soihtu you can pick up your keys from our key box. The key boxes are located in the lobbies of Ilokivi (Keskussairaalantie 2) and Rentukka (Taitoniekantie 9). When you receive the PIN code, you will receive the address of the key box at the same time.
Please note that at the beginning of the lease, keys can be collected no earlier than 12:00 PM on the first working day of the tenancy.
Keys for tenants moving in on the first working day of the month will be placed in the key pickup machine by 4:00 PM without a separate request, unless otherwise stated.
You will receive a PIN code via SMS and email once your key is ready for pickup.
You can order the key you need to the key box by filling out the electronic key order form, which can be found on your Tenant’s Page and the My Soihtu page.
Please submit the key order form no later than 12:00 PM on the day before the pickup date. Note that we do not process key pickup requests on weekends or public holidays.
How to pick up your keys from the key box:
- Make a key box request no later than 12 (noon) on the day before the pickup date – you can do that as soon as you know your arrival date. However, note that we do not process key box requests on weekends and public holidays.
- You will get a text message and email where you can find your PIN code and the address of the key box. You will receive the code when the key is available for pick up. If the date is on the weekend or holiday, you will receive the code latest on the previous working day. Keys must be collected within seven days. Please take this into account when considering the date to pick up the keys.
- Use your PIN code for the front door and the key box.
- Check the keys in the envelope. There should be the same amount of keys as mentioned in the text message. If something is missing, please contact our customer service on the next day at the latest.
- Lock the key box and the main door of the building carefully when leaving.
