IS KORTEPOHJA AWAKE??

Popular City of Light event will be organized in Jyväskylä again between 23rd and 25th of September. This year also Soihtu and Rentukka will be participating the event!

Now we would like to invite all the Student Village’s tenants to this communal light art on this particular autumn weekend! You don’t need any previous skills or own equipment – the lights and instructions will be given to you before the event. The lights can be installed with timer as well, so you don’t even have to be present at home during the whole event.

The light source is installed in the apartment or on the balcony so that it reflects colorful lighting to the window. In addition to this, a more artistic view can be brought to the work, for example with the help of a pattern or character cut from pattern paper. What would you like to tell other Jyväskylä residents about student life in 2021?

We welcome participants especially from the buildings A, B, C, D, H, J and T, so that there will be enough lights for everyone. If possible, lights can also be distributed to the tenants of other buildings, or you can participate with your own lights.
