Swap Market
The swap market located in Kortepohja Student Village is a shared area for residents where you can recycle items you no longer need and take useful finds with you free of charge. Thank you for following the guidelines – this way we can keep the space pleasant for everyone!
The swap market is located in Kortepohja Student Village, on the ground floor of the R building (Taitoniekantie 9 R).
Swap Market opening hours during summer:
30 June at 12 pm – 3 pm
31 July at 12 pm – 3 pm
What can be brought to the room?
You may bring clean, well-maintained, and usable items, such as
– small home decor
– dishes
– books
– toys and games
– hobby and sports equipment
– tools
All items must be intact and clean.
Opening hours and receiving items
The space is open only at specific times, which will be announced to residents in advance. The first opening time is Friday 22 May 2026 from 12:00 to 17:00.
A designated person responsible for the space will always be present to receive items, and all items brought in will be checked. The responsible person may refuse to accept an item if necessary and direct it to the appropriate recycling location. The aim is to ensure that all items at the swap space are safe, clean, and easily usable for other residents.
No items may be left outside the space!
What items are not allowed?
- Large quantities of clothing
- Food items
- Alcohol or tobacco/nicotine products
- Large furniture
- Sharp objects or hazardous substances
- Adult entertainment items
Please remember:
- Only bring items that someone else could genuinely use
- Take items only for your own needs
- Do not leave items in hallways
- Recycle large furniture and clothing elsewhere
