Painting set
Some of Soihtu’s apartments have already seen a fair share of life and tenants. Tenants living in buildings K, L, M, N, O and P of Kortepohja Student Village can paint their apartments with the painting set that Soihtu offers (not in furnished apartments). The painting set includes painting instructions that are sent by email, a set of brushes, a painting roll, a spatula, sandpaper, spackle, painter’s tape, paint detergent and the paints. When painting you commit to following the instructions that the material supplier and Soihtu have given you. If you neglect the instructions and damage is caused to the apartment, repair work will be charged from you.
If you want to, you can paint the dry spaces meaning the walls of the hallway, bedroom and living room (in buildings M, N, O and P also the notice board on the wall) with the color that you choose. Walls of the wet rooms may not be painted. The painting set includes the needed amount of Cello renovation paint (in a room in the shared apartment of building M-P, you will get 3 liters of painter’s white paint and another 3 liters of paint in the shade you have chosen; in buildings K or L or in two-room apartment in the building M-P, you will get one 9 liters of painter’s white paint and 3 liters of paint in the shade you have chosen). The sizes of the paint pots have been chosen so that with the colored paint you can paint one fresh effect wall in your apartment. You can also paint the apartment using the painter’s white paint only. The colour selection for the inner walls of apartments can be found from K-Rauta Tourutorni.
Do this if you want to paint the walls of your apartment:
- Inform our customer service by email that you want to paint walls of your apartment.
- We’ll send you by email painting instructions and a painting coupon that you should show in K-Rauta Touruntorni to get the painting set. (You can print out the coupon or show it from your e.g. phone.)
- Follow the instructions that you have received.
- Take the rubbish that are caused by the work to a dumping ground or to a waste collection point and follow the regulations regarding them.
