Building U in Kortepohja Student Village is ready
A new energy-efficient residential building has been completed in the Kortepohja Student Village on March 28th and residents have been able to move in since April 1st.
The apartments, equipped with modern surface materials and practical storage solutions, make efficient use of living space. The new U-building has a total of 68 apartments, including 17 studios, 44 one-bedroom apartments, and 7 two-bedroom apartments. The energy class of the new building is A. The main heating method of the building is geothermal heating, and the heating of the property also utilizes waste heat from store refrigeration units and solar panels.
A grocery store, Sale, will open in a separate wing of the building on April 10th. The first Subway restaurant in Kortepohja, located on the ground floor, will open its doors on April 2nd.
