Broadband connection
The tenancy for your apartment includes the internet connection provided by Soihtu (depending on the location, 1-3 Gbit/s), which offers a fast connection to the Internet. The fiber-optic speed network of Soihtu is implemented by Lounea. The Lounea broadband connection is connected to your apartment’s outlet.

Lounea Broadband
Lounea broadband is available in the following Soihtu housing locations:
- Soihtu Korttelikylä (3 Gbit/s)
- Kortepohja Student Village buildings A, B, C, D, F, H, J, R, S, T, and U (3 Gbit/s), and M, N, O, P, K and L (1 Gbit/s). The majority of building E.
- Soihtu Vehkakuja (1 Gbit/s)
To use Lounea broadband, you will need your own network cable that supports gigabit speeds (at least CAT 5e) and an RJ-45 connector standard. For security reasons, Lounea recommends using an Ethernet router.

Wireless Tenant Network Connection of Soihtu
Soihtu Housing offers a wireless network connection in furnished rental apartments. Separate login instructions will be provided to the tenants.

TV and digital television adapter
There is cable TV network of Elisa in the housing locations of Soihtu. This means a digital television adapter must be compatible with a cable network.
If you don’t succeed tuning channels to your digital television adapter and can’t find a signal, first restore factory settings of the digital television adapter after which you can tune the channels normally. More specific instructions you can find in the user manual of your device.
