The road back to normal is built together
Soihtu wants to secure every tenant a safe and good everyday life. Therefore, during the last few days, common rooms and services have been widely closed. Soihtu has joined JYY in communicating the Jyväskylä city actions and collaborates continuously with the University of Jyväskylä and the City of Jyväskylä. We hope that by co-operating we can stop the infection chains, bring the number of infections down, and soon go back to normal life again.
We believe that all Soihtu tenants also wish for a speedy return to normal. We are very grateful for how well you have obeyed the safety distance, customized yourselves to remote learning and follow safety instructions. That is why we have seen long periods, during which many of our services have been in use normally, even during the pandemic. By co-operation, we can also get over the newest wave of infections in the city.
Care for others – stay at home
- To return to normal everyday as soon as possible, we all must be responsible and protect others by our own actions. If you are in quarantine, exposed to the virus, or sick, stay at home and avoid contact with people. We ask every tenant to keep in mind that currently many people in the neighbourhood carry the virus with no symptoms.
- Remember if you are quarantined by the local health authorities due to exposure to the virus, you are obliged to stay in quarantine even if you have tested negative for Corona virus. Unlike the self-quarantine related to travel, the official quarantine, set by authorities, cannot be shortened by giving a negative test result. If you are in quarantine, stay at home.
- Isolation means that a person with an infectious disease is isolated from those who are healthy. The purpose is to avoid possible further transmissions. The isolation is ordered by the communicable disease control physician. If you are sick and in isolation, stay at home.
As a landlord, Soihtu doesn’t get tenant’s health data or any health-related information from the authorities.
