Welcome to the Grand Opening of Rentukka LOOP on 30 September 2026

A new community-based sharing service, Rentukka LOOP, will open its doors on Wednesday, 30 September 2026, at Rentukka in Jyväskylä. Join us to explore the service, celebrate the opening, and discover new ways to share, learn, and connect with others!

Rentukka LOOP is a new sharing service where students and other residents of Jyväskylä can easily and affordably borrow household items, tools, sports equipment, and event supplies. The aim is to make everyday items more accessible, reduce unnecessary consumption, and strengthen community spirit.

However, LOOP is much more than a lending service. It also provides opportunities for learning, skill sharing, and collaborative activities. By bringing together people, resources, and expertise, the service supports a more sustainable and community-oriented way of living.

Part of an International Development Project

Rentukka LOOP is being developed as part of the Good Cities Interreg Europe Project, which promotes sustainable and inclusive urban development. Local partners include JYY (Student Union of the University of Jyväskylä), Soihtu, Sovatek, and the City of Jyväskylä.

Come and discover the new service, find useful items to borrow, share your skills, and enjoy an inspiring evening with the community. We look forward to seeing you at Rentukka on 30 September!
