Ilokivi Venue’s Operations Are Changing – New Reservable Event Venue to Open in Early 2026
JYY will discontinue its own restaurant and event operations at Ilokivi Venue and, at the turn of 2026, will open a new reservable event and meeting space in the current Venue premises, in Student Union Building Ilokivi, Jyväskylä, Keskussairaalantie 2. The Venue will serve both the student community and external renters. It will offer versatile event facilities that can be adapted to the needs of students, student organizations, companies, other organizations, and private individuals.
Ilokivi Venue will be known as Ilokivi Venue
As part of the transformation, an online booking calendar will be launched, and updates will be made to access control, technical systems, and the space’s functionalities to ensure that Venue operates smoothly as an easily reservable event space for customers.
The space will continue to be known as Ilokivi Venue and will provide a setting for unforgettable celebrations, community events, and meaningful encounters. The Venue will be operated and managed by Soihtu.
More information about booking opportunities at Venue will be available later this autumn!
