A certificate of your study place for your apartment application
Anyone can apply for an apartment of Soihtu Housing. Primary applicants for our apartments are members of the Student Union of the University of Jyväskylä (JYY), and other students after them. We verify the membership from the student register of the University of Jyväskylä.
If you are a member of another educational insitute than University of Jyväskylä or you are about to start your studies, but haven’t paid your membership yet, you need to attach a certificate in your application.

This can be accepted only from applicants who have not yet started their studies and do not have access for Study certificate nor My Studyinfo. Notice, that the letter must state the educational institution, the student’s name & the date.
- Kela’s valid study grant decision, which shows the name of the student and the educational institution
