Tenant magazine Kylä is here again
Soihtu’s tenant magazine Kylä is published. In the newest magazine you can found stories of, for example, tenant democracy, popular cultivation boxes and rent control.
- Soihtu’s communications manager tell her first encounter with the core of tenant democracy. On the page 3 you can find the story of tenant democracy and donuts.
- Heli Hämäläinen remembered clearly why she was ready to invest her time in the tenant’s activity. ”It was about organizing free-time activities, for which lots of resources were available, and any crazy idea could be carried out.” (p. 13)

Positive prospects for Soihtu’s new construction project in the Kortepohja Student Village
Soihtu aims for a new building in Kortepohja Student Village to serve e.g. students’ families. The new building will be placed along the Kartanonkuja street, between buildings Q and E. Provided that the new site of Soihtu receives a building permit from the city of Jyväskylä and a start permit from Ara, construction can begin in late autumn 2023.
